Velcome to Country Truckstop Danmarks homepage.
Country Truckstop Danmark was founded in 1998.
Back then most of our members were truck drivers, but now we have a lot of
members who joins the club because of country music.
The purpose of the club is to spread out the
good visions in and about country music.
Four times a year the members receive our club
magazine. We tell about country artists, Billboard’s Top
50 list, new
country releases etc. We also write about new rules for the truck drivers
and what is going on on the highways. Every member is free to write in the
magazine.
Every summer Country Truckstop Danmark arrange a
country festival in
At the festival you will find small shops with
lots and lots of merchandises for the country people.
Close to the festival there’s a camp where you
can put your caravan or tent during the festival for a fair price.

COUNTRYEVENT
2010 July 2nd in the Centre of Kolding.
Before
the Countryfestival opens at the Amfiscene, you can “warm up” in the Centre
of Kolding.
At
5 outdoors places, there will be free countrymusic concerts between 13.00 pm and
18.00 pm. There will be exhibition of Harley Davidson bikes and USA-cars as well
as linedance show in the pedestrian streets.
Come and join this fantastic afternoon in the Centre of Kolding.

COUNTRYFESTIVAL 2010
Countryfestival
2010 will be the most exciting festival in the 12 years history of Country
Truckstop Danmark.
Besides
the open air stage there will be 2 tents (300 m2 and 72 m2). In the big tent
which we call “Roadhouse” there will be live country music when the artists
change places on the open air stage. In “Roadhouse”, we also have a talent show
for up-coming-bands. When the music stops at 22.30 pm on the open air stage, we
will continue in “Roadhous” with live country music until 01.00 am both Friday and
Saturday.
The
small tent is called “Teddy’s Corner”. In Denmark we have Mr. Teddy
Edelmann. He is one of the first Danish musicians who sang country music in
danish language and became very famous. In 1984 he recorded “Himmelhunden”
(Can I bring my dog to heaven) which still is very very popular after 26 years.
We still hear it on the radio several times a week even after all those years.
Among the youth Teddy is CULT.
“Teddy’’s
Corner” will decorated as a cosy living room with pictures, posters, guitars,
etc. from Teddy’s carrier. Mr.
Teddy Edelman and a few other country musicians will play in “Teddy’s
Corner”, and when they need a break, we start the karaoke-machine ...
The
exhibition of Harley Davidson bikes and USA cars, will be at the green area at
the festival. Also in this area you will find booths with country and western
outfits for all cowgirls and cowboys
BUT NO
COUNTRYFESTIVAL WITHOUT COUNTRY MUSIC....
We have
bands from USA, Australia, Holland, Germany, Sweden and Denmark. And ALL of them
know what country music is all about. That is why they perform in Kolding
